[/quote] You’re forgetting that there was a draft in WWII. Soldiers came from all walks of life. In fact, throughout the ‘60s and ‘70s, veterans were more likely to identify as Democrats. All those issues you noted are hysterical right wing caricatures, except for abolishing ICE. WWII vets would have recognized the similarities with the Gestapo.[/quote]
