[/quote] Except that they don't bill it as a gifted program, and it's partly a kind of affirmative action program. Kids considered disadvantaged get experience points, Young Scholars get bonus points, and teachers are supposed to complete the HOPE evaluation by comparing the kids to others in a similar group.
