My older kid at a Christian private is on the exact same math track that she would have been in public, which is advanced, and she's not the only one in her grade. Only difference is our private starts differentiation in 5th instead of 3rd like the public. But our public school district just erased the majority of the differentiation in 3rd and 4th between last year and this year. And our private school curriculum is about half a grade ahead of gen ed math in our public district, so now the private ends up ahead for my younger kid.[/quote]
