They actively try to filter out the weak links. They don’t go out of their way to make sure you graduate like American colleges do. They expect the graduating class to be smaller than the freshman class and they plan their teaching and other resources accordingly for the later years. The social scene is also light compared to U.S. campuses. You will make close-knit group of friends but won’t have 100 frat brothers. Being an American won’t be an issue socially as long as you don’t ever say out loud you don’t like hockey or you voted for Trump. [/quote]
