But for daily commutes where you're running behind to get to work, and then you just want to get home and change into something more comfortable in the evening, it's too long. The commute is a chore, and a 0.9 mile walk each way feels like it lengthens your work day. I used to live that distance from metro, and all of my neighbors drove to work or drove to the metro lot. I walked about 75% of the time and was the only one. Now I live about 0.1 miles from metro, and it's so much better.[/quote]
