Don't let Arlington chime in a say they are replacing Unions old recrutiting dominance. Arlington is very good at what it does, giving high EFC families access to slightly better academic options through soccer. This very rarely translates to D1 but when it does its usually to ivys. So again very good at what they do, I would add McLean GA will do this well too, more so because of their zip code than anything else. So the answer as PP said is VDA hands down and Union in 2nd for now but they will need to see better results with 09 and 10 classes then they have done so far with 08.[/quote]

Not sure about Union being second.  most of those girls in 09 and 10 classes are from McLean before McLean moved on from the partnership.  Union could get strong from merger of 6 teams but you need to have very good coaches.  Look for strong coaches lineup with good track records.  I believe VDA and Arlington over any other teams in Virginia.  NVA has good players/teams but coaches are mess, St. James also has good players but the whole club is a mess.  [/quote]
