That is pretty naive. What do you think will happen if a democrat tries to remove all these Trump appointments? You think a democrat president could fire the head of the FBI or CIA without crazies attacking? This country is done. Break it apart is the only way forward.

Our awful two parties have successfully divided their sheep to a never seen before extent in order to preserve their power. The more hate between the two "sides", the more easily people can be duped into blind loyalty and donating to fight the evil other "side".

I honestly don't think this is true anymore. A bunch of us elected a life long criminal to the highest office. A bunch of us are cheering on our descent into fascism. A bunch of us refused to wear masks, get vaccinated, or do anything that contributes to the common good. A bunch of us want religious indoctrination in our schools. A bunch of us want to reinstate White supremacy and patriarchy as the law of the land. A bunch of us are totally fine with suspending due process for people of color and immigrants. A bunch of us want to see LGBT people erased from public life, and even criminalized.

We are very divided and have starkly different values that inform how we want to live. Ignoring that fact is exactly what has brought us to this point. A peaceful breakup and coexistence is the best we can hope for. [/quote]
