So now the National Mall is crawling with National Guard, DEA, ATF, and FBI counterterrorism units… apparently hunting for teenage carjackers even though the National Mall has less crime than a church bake sale.  And meanwhile foreign spies, drug cartels, terrorists and others can see nobody's minding the shop where it matters.

* And now, the GOP is sleepwalking into a government shutdown because they forgot to pass actual appropriations bills. Even funnier: a chunk of them genuinely believe the BBB was a budget. Spoiler: it wasn’t. This is like turning in a book report on The Art of the Deal and thinking you’re deserving of a Nobel Laureate in Economics.

This is not governance. It’s a clown car on fire, rolling downhill into a minefield.[/quote]
