We didn't find the locals as friendly as the UK and [b]didn't find the public transit as convenient[/b] as London. Also, it didn't help that we had gorgeous weather in London (it didn't rain a drop!) and it was extremely hot in Paris. This was mid June. I'm sure if we had someone with us who was very familiar with Paris it would have made a big difference. [/quote]

WHAT??? The Paris metro and RER is incredible. Use Citymapper or the RATP app and you are good to go. We had a running joke that 3 minutes was sooo long to wait for the next train.[/quote]
