I was never a helicopter parent deciding everything. So far, I am still getting that same vibe from the pro-Greek side as I did back then, similar to a time-share hustler: “I know stuff, lots of stuff more than you do, so if you know what’s good for you then you’ll join. Don’t you want to be better than everyone else?” I did receive a bid but declined. I recall hearing, “We wasted beer on this person.” Perhaps all these frat/sorority goobers is why the DC Metro area is so snooty and stuck up. [/quote]
