Except we let ours get away with sneakers, but it was more church clothes than semiformal. I try to keep khakis, one button down, and a navy blazer on hand for dress up events at every age. I have always been able to find a blazer at thrift stores or ebay. (Son is now 14.). He has attended a couple of funerals and lots of weddings. Also wore the blazer for high school visits and a dress up event for 8th grade. [/quote]
