Preschool used to start at 4, if at all. The idea of needing preschool at 2 or 3 is totally unfounded, except for very underprivileged children who would otherwise have poor care arrangements. Of course it can be beneficial but is in no way "better" than being with parents or a good nanny. [/quote]
