Vance’s USSS detail asked for the river level to be raised so the *secret service protective detail* motor boats could navigate the river in support of the protection mission. Vance and family were *kayaking*.

The raised water levels were for the secret service boats, not for Vance.

Actually, no. 
Enough of imperial presidencies. They should all vacation at Camp David while they are in office.

POTUS has the White House and VPOTUS has the Naval Observatory. That’s ample. No need for additional taxpayer dollars to be wasted on anything beyond official travel for the principal while in office.

No beach trips, no golfing, no hanging out in foreign lands or major metropolises.

They can vacation elsewhere after their term is up. [/quote]
