Vance’s USSS detail asked for the river level to be raised so the *secret service protective detail* motor boats could navigate the river in support of the protection mission. Vance and family were *kayaking*.

The raised water levels were for the secret service boats, not for Vance.

Thanks for confirming that valuable federal manpower and resources were used for the VP's endless vacations, while the rest of the federal workforce gets RIF'd and the public needs to deal with drastic cuts to national park resources.
