Where players that aren't at the same level as others risk hurting themselves or others. School sports really got ruined by yearround, travel, and aau sports, making it really competitive and hard to make it onto teams. But there's other avenues to play if someone doesn't make a team. ie they can play with their friends on the playground, rec leagues, etc. There are some nonschool tryout teams that carry a large roster. But I've often heard complaints from families on those teams where players never see the field or floor during games or even practice. Would that be better? Or then does it get to that people start demanding equal playing time too?[/quote]
