There will never be enough "affordable housing" according to people like you, even though the construction of apartment buildings is never-ending and it seems like every inch of land has been developed. And how do you even know that these people in crowded group housing would even want that housing if it did exist? Maybe they prefer to fly under the radar in these group houses. Many lower-income people accept that they need to live further away -- it's just how it works. There isn't enough available land so that every low-income person in the entire DMV can have subsidized housing inside the beltway in Arlington and Bethesda.[/quote]
