I live in California and I try to be to honest about Cal, it is challenging to go to school there, and wouldn’t have been a preference for my DS.  With that said, I consider Cal superior to UVA and a lot of East Coast privates.

Yea, I agree.  The NE bias bothers me a lot more than the CA interlopers with no connection to the DMV who come on here and pontificate things like "I consider Cal to be superior to UVA" having zero connection to or knowledge of UVA.  This is a DMV website,  Go lurk on College Confidential or something.[/quote]
