Raise them correctly, build trust (a two way street), and give them age appropriate freedoms. This is as crazy as that mom that posted a question about leaving her 18 year old home alone for the weekend. Obviously, if you have yo ask the question you've done something severely wrong, so the answer is 'no'. So glad I trust my kids and they can trust me not to spy.
