Continuing to cite these one-off extreme cases does nothing to negate the horror of US based concentration camps where green card holders and others who are trying to work within the system were kidnapped and being held illegally. There aren't Dems who think it is bad that actual criminals are being deported - after all, Obama and Biden actually did this by the hundreds of thousands.
I have heard ZERO democrats speak out in support of deporting the illegal alien criminals that ICE has in custody. Instead, we see democrats traipsing to detention centers concerned about the conditions under which these monsters are being detained. No concern for the victims of these criminals. No support for ICE who actually risk their lives to capture these criminals - with ZERO help from the local authorities in sanctuary jurisdictions. So, you can say this all you want, but their actions speak far louder than the words you write.
These are not opposite or inconsistent thoughts, and you overstate your ire. You can simultaneously believe that noncitizen criminal should be deported (and it seems after serving a just sentence here is best to prevent return), and support lawful actions of authorities, and be concerned for victims of crime, while ALSO believing that our system demands all people be given due process and that authorities follow the law, because without those two things, our entire system fails. Words matter too, and you don't get to interpret their actions in a vacuum.
The system already fails when what are clearly economic migrants are abusing the political asylum rules—and certain political parties facilitate that abuse when they are in power. It undercuts our labor markets, strains resources and damages the social fabric. So you’re sort of in a catch-22, here. So many people find calls for the rule of law and due process to be nothing more than fig leafs for a backdoor political agenda. Remember, words matter, and you don’t get to interpret actions in a vacuum. Right?
