NP with a quick question that it not worth opening a new thread. I’m new to the online dating. After the first date, when do you expect a man to invite you on a second date, if he is interested? I met someone on Saturday, and when we said goodbye, he suggested to meet again for a certain activity, but since then, hasn’t proposed a specific date. We exchanged some messages on the app yesterday, but he didn’t bring up the subject of meeting again. Does it mean that he is not interested? Should I unmatch him or send a message explicitly asking if he is interested in meeting again and if he isn’t, then no hard feelings and ok to unmatch? I like him but don’t want to invest any energy into thinking about him, if he isn’t interested.
Just ask. Worst that happens is you get turned down and no other date from him. Good way to plan in the future is plan ahead, and if a date goes well, make plans to do some light get-together before you say goodnight at the first date. "I really enjoyed meeting you! Let's get together this____ and do ______, or if you are busy that day/time, then when would be good for you?
Good to know! In how many days after the first date do you normally have the second one? I plan to ask him later tonight if he doesn’t reach out by then.
