First of all, as a fellow Fed thank you for your service to the American people and I am sorry you lost your job due to this chaos. Call CareFirst and check with them on the price or if they have an app, you should be able to check prices based on your plan. Wegovy is avail for $125/mo or $125/90 days via mail order through Caremark but it’s only through the Standard plan (which I’m not sure if that is only avail to Feds or not) and only for the higher doses, which are not the starting doses. Thanks so much for the kind words. They come on a particularly difficult day. I will do as you suggest. To elaborate further, I gained 15 pounds since staying home all day and for the first time, I understand the meaning of the term 'food noise'. Made no sense to me before. I was doing IF for about 6 years when I lost my job and being home all day, stressed out and depressed, I can't stay away from the fridge/kitchen for long. Oh well. Completely understandable, OP and I’m not sure which agency you were with but my agency made its RIFs official today after folks were on admin leave since April and today in particular was sad for us all.  If CareFirst covers it, then do yourself a favor and go on it with your doctor’s authorization. I think of it as an extra tool in the toolbox along with eating well and working out and right now you need some self care and prioritize taking care of yourself.  If insurance can’t cover it, Mochi may be an option. It works out to around $150/mo and people seem pleased with their results from their GLP-1, which is compound but seems to get good reviews (and you don’t need your doctor’s authorization). Not advocating for compound, but it is an affordable option. [/quote]
