I have a friend from law school who moved down there after graduation who came to the same conclusion after a few years when he was looking to settle down. He would be like, "I'm not a 'all women are goldiggers' type, but man, I feel like that's true in Miami." I'm sure that's not reeaaallly the case, but it's prevalent enough to have made an impression. He was real keen to meet a woman at the various weddings we attended during that time who was not in that scene and eventually did, a very pretty woman with substance from Connecticut lol.[/quote]
