If you don’t like to drink, move on. I was at a BBQ yesterday and dh and I drank Michelob ultra light through out the day. I’d normally drink white wine or a craft beer or cider, but ended up having Michelob instead and it was refreshing, light and didn’t give me a headache like a lot of alcohol does after a few hours. At the end of the night I switched and had one craft IPA and soon after had a headache. Is there something to light, cheaper beer?
Guinness draft has been the go-to for that for most people for decades since they made it on Nitrogen. It's decent enough quality and not an adjunct like Michelob (and most American style light pilsners) and adjuncts tend to have more toxins than natural Ales due to the nature of the added rice, cellulose, HFCS, etc in those cheap beers. Guinness is light and lower calorie 140 per 11 oz bottle or 265 per 19-20 oz Guinness "pint". Main thing is to avoid those cheap beers like miller, budweiser, michelob, coors, blatz, etc. if you don't want a headache the next day. Also drink a glass of water for every beer you have to stay hydrated.
