We spent so much time and effort trying to recruit American citizens who then were DOGEd. It took years to find these STEM staff who would move to the DC metro and accept federal pay. Doesn't matter if we have hiring authority now, most feds at my agency are looking to leave if they have under 15 years with the government. [/quote]
