I am the pear above who said shirt dresses with inset waists and an aline or fuller skirt are my favorite style of dress. I actually own this dress in another color. It is flattering because I have a smaller waist and chest.

Some think of shirt dresses as basically a longer version of a man's shirt that may be worn belted or unbelted. This isn't a style that works for me because my hips are too wide. A size that would fit them would be way too big in the shoulders. It is a style that could work for women who have waists that are wider relative to their hips.[/quote]
