DC is finishing her first year in her new parochial school. To say its been an adjustment is an understatement. Lots more homework, more difficult, etc. I think she will end up the year with A's the majority of classes but 2 B's. Will that matter when we are looking at high schools? Or do they only look at grades in middle school?
Harvard will likely be out of the picture. Matter fact, college in general might be a stretch. Maybe try trade schools?
Nothing wrong with trade schools people. You can get a very rewarding career and life with a trade school education. I realize this is supposed to be a joke about a mom upset that a 4th grader got a B and can’t get into: a) Harvard or b) any college at all, but there is a world outside of DC with amazingly successful and happy people who did not go to college.
