Childcare center, M-F with set daily hours is very different than a grocery store with possible 24*7 operations, including nighttime deliveries by huge trucks. I am surprised that zoning is the same for both uses, to be honest. Do you know for sure that the tree line with disappear? Can you reach out to your local reps. about a forestation plan and/or reforestation? Unfortunately the local municipality will likely welcome the next and expanded tax base and lean in to make this work for the developer. Good luck! [/quote]
