Wondering if people have had any luck treating rosacea/red skin? My 16 yo has been dealing with rosacea for years and she constantly has pink cheeks and chin and occasional flares. Her dermatologist prescribed Metronidazole yet it hasn't helped in the 2 months that she's been using it. Worried about having her try any other products due to her sensitive skin but has anything helped any of you? She's very embarrassed about it and I feel so bad for her.
Getting treating for SIBO ended my rosacea. The creams don't do much.
I’m fascinated by the link between SIBO and rosacea. I was diagnosed with Type 2 rosacea about two months ago. I have always had really great skin. It all changed after a bout of double pneumonia that required serious antibiotic use for a few weeks. I wonder if I have SIBO from getting my microbiome out of whack. I honestly haven’t been the same and it’s been nine months now.
