I do not know how people find these cheap flights!  We are flying to Spain and tickets were $2500 there on premium plus (each) on United and $1000 on economy on Iberia.  And we are flying mid week and I really did shop around and couldn’t find better for direct flights.

When did you buy? We bought our Switzerland tix in December for a very late August flight and they were about $700. My kid just bought tix to Amsterdam (nonstop) for a trip in July and also paid about $700. We have found that buying really far out or 6 weeks out yield the cheapest flights. [/quote]
