Do you have kids, or have you ever been to a kid’s party?  Half of them take one bite and most of the moms would never deign to eat pizza.  Go ahead and spring for the premium option but it will likely be wasted.[/quote]

At most of the birthday parties, most parents never ate the pizza if it was subpar.  And you end up throwing out tons of food.  Even Flippin pizza is better.  Mama Lucia is pretty good.  [/quote]

My experience has been parents always eat no matter what the pizza is as long as it’s obvious that there is plenty of it. Many times i’ve been to birthday parties where the host parents have clearly not ordered enough to also feed the parents so even though there may be some left/its not enough for everyone to eat so none of the parents eat.

That being said Dominos is pretty gross-even my kids won’t eat it. All the others are fine. But logistically it doesn’t make financial sense to buy a bunch of $25 pizzas when you are MOSTLY feeding kids. The kids mostly don’t care. You are always going to have the couple of kids who take 1-2 bites no matter how good the pizza is and the couple of kids who can eat 5 pieces each no matter how low bar the pizza is. It’s like that no matter what. [/quote]
