Just so you know, I know of at least two kids in full time AAP with my eldest (rising 6th) who did not have high test scores. At least some portion of the AAP class is admitted despite not testing into the "pool". A friend got her son in for 5th grade despite him not qualifying for any advanced services at all up to that point. I can't tell you what makes the difference for those kids, but I'm betting it's to do with teacher packets. This board seems to be heavily weighted by parents whose kids score high, but it's likely not a fully representative section of AAP. All this to say, if you see indications that your kid is advanced, you are totally justified in applying again.[/quote]
