And some people are just obsessed with shitting on Lula. She has done many great things for the community and for women in the sport. Keyboard warriors and trolls move on
So much for women that her club has 1 female coach and no female directors. And let's be honest, she has had plenty of opportunity to employ one with the amount of directors that have left in just the last 10 years. She can keep pushing these narratives, but nobody with an ounce of brains believes it that's been around her.
I'd push back on this. Licensed Female coaches are just hard to come by in this area.
Not one though? Can't entice a single female coach to come be a director? Currently has 2 male directors on the travel side. By my count, another 11 male directors have been employed and left/been let go in the last 7 or so years. "Leads" an organization that holds female only licenses and can't get any of them to come over as coaches? She doesn't value women coaches because if she did, she would have them in her organization.
Wow! You sound crazy. She has some great female hires. And for what it’s worth, it’s hard to keep coaches, female or otherwise. There is a lot of turnover in the travel coaching biz.
To your first point, name them... To your second, that is true. Again, was answering the assertion that she has been good for women and the community. I would argue that its pretty telling where the club is now vs where it was before the SYC exodus. They aren't attracting the top coaches or ones with licenses. There's a reason.
You are comparing apples and oranges. Two very different value propositions. One is a community club, the other is a win at all costs destination super club. Both serve a different demographic and target customer. Syc hired away two of their coaches last year, one of which is GA coach. By your logic he wasn't a "top" coach until he joined SYC a year ago.
