Almost all schools will consider out-of-cycle applicants under the right circumstances even if they have a waitlist, and they can almost always squeeze in another seat if they want to. The waitlist is not a promise that if a space can be made, the next kid in the pool gets the spot. Schools can and will bypass waitlists for any reason they want. [/quote]
