Obviously there’s a time and a place to talk about bio and adoptive children but distinguishing this way did sound a little strange to me as well when the info (whether or not the kids were biologically related) wasn’t relevant to the topic. It would have felt more natural to me to say older or younger children here. It reminded me of an older relative who always seemed to need to point out which grandchild was adopted. That said, it was just a benign comment and I assume nothing about this poster (you?) here.[/quote]
