IM is swam at NVSL Divisionals - having an opportunity at Time Trials guarantees swimmers a time to use.  We had one year that there was one opportunity in the season to swim IM at the B meet.  This was prior to adding it to Time Trials.  The reason there were no opportunities all had to do with storms.  And the one opportunity was not ideal because they rushed it in because of impending weather.

It is BS to have an event at the "Championship Meet" but not give kids a real opportunity to swim it.[/quote]
