Just FYI, the American Rescue Plan and Inflation Reduction Act eliminated the income limit. Instead, you can get a subsidy if the cost of the second lowest cost Silver plan is more than 8.5% of your adjusted gross income. So you probably have been eligible for a subsidy for the last few years.

There are a lot of entrenched interests in the current system, but it’s expensive and inefficient and ineffective. We spend more and have worse outcomes. [/quote]
