Ms Sajet is the poster child for what is wrong with government funding of Smithsonian.   wealthy elite living on taxpayer funding?   Should a mom with 2 kids be funding her playtime at the Smithsonian?

who can afford these types of degrees, an independently wealthy young adult.   not me or anyone I know.

She has earned a doctorate in Liberal Studies from Georgetown University, a master’s degree in art history from Bryn Mawr College, a master’s degree in business administration from Melbourne University Business School in Australia, a bachelor’s degree in art history from Melbourne University, and a graduate diploma in Museum studies from Deakin University in Australia. She has completed arts leadership training at the Harvard Business School, the Getty Institute and National Arts Strategies.

Clearly the federal government should not be funding the Portrait Gallery.   She is able to raise money.  let the rich support this.

yes what could possibly go wrong with trained art historians and curators? We should let Mama June lead the Smithsonian. or maybe just sell it to Cedar Point - they are tearing down the Largo 6 Flags so they could just put a new one on the mall and tear down the museums or turn them into dark rides.
