After they calling the kids stupid or the mistakes stupid?
Doesn't matter.
I disagree. IMO, calling mistakes stupid is problematic and calls for a reprimand and a plan to ensure the teacher stops doing that or is eventually fired if they don't. A principal downplaying that is concerning, but they might be implementing an improvement plan you don't see so some patience is warranted, although measured outreach to their supervisor might also make sense if it seems like it's being ignored. Bringing something like this to the Board of Ed or media would likely not lead to anything. Calling the kids stupid is abusive, and calls for the teacher to be fired. A principal downplaying that is a scandal and needs to have serious consequences. It should be brought to the supervisor's attention with demands for immediate action and no tolerance for delays, and to the Board of Ed and media soon after if there is not prompt action.
