Ms Sajet is the poster child for what is wrong with government funding of Smithsonian.   wealthy elite living on taxpayer funding?   Should a mom with 2 kids be funding her playtime at the Smithsonian?

who can afford these types of degrees, an independently wealthy young adult.   not me or anyone I know.

She has earned a doctorate in Liberal Studies from Georgetown University, a master’s degree in art history from Bryn Mawr College, a master’s degree in business administration from Melbourne University Business School in Australia, a bachelor’s degree in art history from Melbourne University, and a graduate diploma in Museum studies from Deakin University in Australia. So, let me get this straight... you want her replaced with someone who doesn't have the same qualifications but who is American? So you want merit ignored and hiring to instead focus on diversity. You do you know that you're asking for DEI, right? That's DEI. [/quote]

You would have to know why she was replaced to say whether it is DEI or not.

She might have said or done something that became a shot across the bow. I don't know what.
