Lots of people use the ‘shared housing’ loophole to get their kids into a different school cluster. Borderline residency fraud, but MCPS doesn’t have the resources to pursue families who go this route. And this is a diverse area. It is common in other cultures to consider people ‘family’ or ‘extended family’ and so it is seen as acceptable to use their address to get your child into a different MCPS school cluster. [/quote]
