My son is headed to prom in NOVA. Last year, I ordered from a place in McLean and I ended up with a very pretty but TINY corsage made of spray roses. So it was expensive and embarrassingly small (and it was too late to fix even after they added one more rose!). If I order from Safeway or Giant, what do I ask for? 4 white roses with some ribbon in the right color? This is just for a friend of DS, but I want it to be nice.
Corsages are tinier now to match the skimpier dresses, lol. And they are all on the wrist now (unless they are given as a bridesmaid style freestanding bouquet). I would base the corsage color on the dress if that works. We went with white spray roses but that's because the selection of purple flowers available clashed with the right shade of purple for the dress. I had them add some crystals on picks to jazz it up a little bit. That looked nice.
