This is so true. I am amazed at the range of personalities in my DS’ K class. TT has the luxury to pick and choose.

I also know for sure that some kids did not have connections but I know why the school offered them a spot. Those kids have a range of personalities and shine in different ways. Some are quite charming and come across great communicator while some may be on the quiet side, but come across thoughtful and mature for their age. It turns out these hidden gems are not hidden but multiple TTs have spotted these kids and had offered their spots. I can see why these TTs wanted these kids. It not just being smart kids but certain personalities about them just shine through.[/quote]

So do you think even if the child is at a small unconnected preschool, but has a great personality (or at least one appealing to TT), they have a decent shot?  [/quote]
