What is "fascinating" about a religion that stills pays money to hide the child sexual abuse that occurred at the hands of Priests ?
What is  "fascinating" is the sickening sight of Trump as the Pope and Catholics not screaming how horrifying that is?
What is "fascinating" is one Catholic can support Alito or Thomas. Goes against every Catholic doctrine.

What beliefs did you find solace in?  Most religions promise Everlasting life.  You don't find out  if it's real until you're dead.  And then it's too late.

Everyone knows about it NOW. This was not talked about widely until the Boston Globe broke the story in 2002.  However there was lots of talking in the 90s, most of which was ignored or buried.

By 2002 it was impossible to ignore. Even if all abuse cases were brought to light, tried, and the church cleaned house, for me, as a woman, I can never go back to being Catholic since I have no voice or body anonymity.
