They benefited by being rich and connected. That’s not a DEI admissions policy. That’s been true since they opened their doors. [/quote]

And I’ll add, you seem to be confused about my point.

White, rural, red state admits with lower than average stats get admitted in the spirit of diversity, but they SO don’t understand DEI, they don’t realize they benefited from it. They think *they* were admitted on merit. Typical of modern republicans.

Harvard should do the funniest thing - just shut out all the rich & politico families for the next 5 years. Only allow in kids with 1600 SATs. It will be 75% Asian after 5 years and wealthy MAGAs will be HOWLING. [/quote]

Well MAGA from under-represented states like Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky and such will be upset when their geographic hook/minority status no longer compensates for their lower stats.

You and I both know the numbers of poor magas that get admitted into Harvard is close to zero.
