Most MAGA supporters just want to feel like they belong to a powerful group and that they have special knowledge. Meanwhile, most Dems (myself included) feel disenfranchised and hopeless. The Dems' messaging needs to ignite the poor Appalachian citizen and the poor inner-city citizen alongside the middle-class struggling homeowners. Right now they mostly appeal to the educated and/or civic-minded, the people that work for non-profits or in the caring professions and post on boards like DCUM. We can discuss among ourselves forever but the Dems need to bring the truth about King Trump to the masses in an engaging way. [/quote]
