I’ve lived in 12 cities in 8 states and two other countries. I’ve worked in rural red states for illiterate patients who don’t have health insurance and socialized with DC’s power circle. My life is no bubble. [/quote]

They benefited by being rich and connected. That’s not a DEI admissions policy. That’s been true since they opened their doors. [/quote]

And I’ll add, you seem to be confused about my point.

White, rural, red state admits with lower than average stats get admitted in the spirit of diversity, but they SO don’t understand DEI, they don’t realize they benefited from it. They think *they* were admitted on merit. Typical of modern republicans.

I am all for DEI. And I am disgusted by the advantage that rich, connected people have in all admissions. [/quote]
