The largest glass jar with the wire/ gasket lid. I don't know what that's called. I have a whole set of them of various sizes. For beans, dried herbs, etc, and the huge one for rice. Probably holds 5-8 pounds.
But where does this sit? On the counter?
I have a shelf for dry goods. It's a literal bookshelf, but it tucks nicely into a weird window nook in my kitchen. Herbs growing on the top shelf, jars of flours/ sugars/ beans/ rices (I have like six kinds, but only white and brown are in big jars-- wild, sushi, arborio, etc in smaller ones) on the middle two shelves. Bottom shelf for the bigger pots. It's a small city house, but we make do!
