Go to the vet. Please. Do not wait for an appointment ‘soon’. Call them and have her seen now.
This is an overreaction. A slight limp/sensitivity that doesn't interfere with eating/drinking and doing bathroom business isn't an emergency, and can be taken as a 'wait and see'. Unless you want to go pay thousands for diagnostics that may reveal nothing, a couple of days wait to evaluate whether or not the situation improves is appropriate. If the dog isn't putting weight on it at all, is obviously distressed, can't get to food or get outside to toilet, is actively bleeding, etc. well then yeah, that's a "right now" call. But a minor discomfort the dog can work through isn't an emergency call.
Op here. Thanks, I agree. We are taking her in soon. She seems fine today. And she never seemed in any particular distress, no issues with eating, pooping, etc.
