Private sector, being profit driven, doesn't have interest in solutions that aren't going to be long term money makers, and there simply are not enough kid born with these issues to make it profitable. This is EXACTLY why the government steps in and provides funding research. Why DOD? How many troops have heart issues or might suffer heart trauma in combat to where having more knowledge that is applicable across the board is helpful?[/quote]
