So Democrats shouldn’t attempt to do the right thing because Republicans will definitely do the wrong thing? Trump’s not planning on leaving office on January 20, 2029. When future historians write about this time in American history (if they are permitted to publish truthful accounts of it), it would be nice if they could list examples of patriots at least attempting to rein in Trump. Our founders would be appalled at our letting go of the Constitution and rule of law with both hands.[/quote]

This is a waste of time.  Democrats need to find a charismatic leader first.  Then that leader needs to offer a PROPOSITION for the future, not OPPOSITION to the present.[/quote]
